You can only sell cars at a LSC or Bennys if they can be modified at Bennys. You can only sell cars you got off the street every 24 in-game hours or 48 real minutes. Just R* trying to create artificial difficulty, or just trying to make getting money way harder than it should be so they can sell more shark cards. You can sell cars you bought through a website at any time. Just like cooldowns on missions, the mechanic, calling the cops off with lester, etc. One way or another it's stupid, pointless, and annoying, and should never have been implemented. However, I think you can increase that by not selling vehicles, something like for every day you don't hit the sell limit, the sell limit gets one car higher. How many vehicles can you sell in a 24 hour period? I have no f*cking idea what the starting number is, but once you hit it and you get that "you have hit the daily sell limit" garbage, you can only sell 3 vehicles per day from then on. Basically R* doesn't want people making easy money by selling cars off the street, or even clearing their garages out, so you can only sell x amount of vehicles in a 24 hour period.

Most of the modifications I've tried so far DO add to the sale price of the car. For example, if you already have 'Engine Tuning 2' and you then fit 'Engine Tuning 1', the latter will REPLACE the former and the sale price will DROP by 50% of the difference between cost of the two mods. So I was just wondering if anyone has ever bothered to work this out? If for example I spend $1000 on mods, how much does the price increase by? (it it that simple?) Are there any mods that don't increase the price? (like respraying?) Also, if I buy two mods in the same category (for example 'Engine Tuning 1' and 'Engine Tuning 2') does it just increase the price due to the more expensive of the two, or does it increase by some combination of the two? (I can't remember exactly how much I've spend on the mods - it was over a period of several weeks.) I have since added a few mods to it (improved engine tuning, etc.) and now if I try to sell it the price offered is around $13000. For example, I have an Ocelot F620 which has a normal sale price of $8000.
